Deep in the jungle of Central Vietnam lies a magnificent underground realm. Hang Son Doong (Mountain River Cave) is the largest cave passage in the world, and it’s a place of spectacular beauty.
Having been discovered by modern humans less than 40 years ago, its pristine charm has remained undisturbed for millions of years. In 2014, Son Doong’s future was cast into uncertainty when plans were announced to build a cable car into the cave.
In addition to illuminating the incredible beauty of Son Doong, this film follows those involved in the struggle to protect it. Lê Nguyễn Thiên Hương is among the activists risking their lives to #SaveSon Doong.
