In a world with so many fences, what does it mean to be free? For the final program of our 2025 festival, we are proud to present the regional premieres of two new films about humans, horses, buffalo, Indigeneity, and colonization.
This program features an official selection in our Indigenous Voices series, BRING THEM HOME, produced and narrated by Academy Award nominee, Lily Gladstone (RESERVATION DOGS, KILLERS OF THE FLOWER MOON).

BRING THEM HOME (AISKÓTÁHKAPIYAAYA) tells the story of a group of Blackfoot people and their mission to establish the first wild buffalo herd on their ancestral territory since the species’ near-extinction a century ago, an act that would restore the land, re-enliven traditional culture, and bring much needed healing to their community. Narrated and produced by Academy Award nominee, Lily Gladstone.
